Burlington County is home base for Neuron. Our office is on Executive Drive in Marlton, so our nurses, aides, therapists and direct support professionals spend much of their day in Evesham, Mount Laurel, Moorestown and the towns around them.
Families here often call after a parent comes home from Virtua Marlton or Virtua Memorial in Mount Holly, when a loved one with a developmental disability needs more support at home, or when a family caregiver simply needs a break. We help families plan care at home after a stay at Virtua Marlton Hospital, Virtua Memorial Hospital (Mount Holly), Virtua Willingboro Hospital, and other hospitals and rehab centers. Ask the discharge team to include Neuron in the plan, or call us and we'll coordinate.
Local resources
Burlington County Office on Aging: A good first call for older adults about county programs, transportation and caregiver support. We can work alongside any services they arrange.
NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD): adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Burlington County apply for and manage DDD services through the state, usually with a support coordinator. We accept eligible DDD self-directed budgets and can work with your support coordinator on the plan.
